You are on the living floor of this characteristic farm barn, next to the old orchard. A place of peace and space, in the heart of nature along the centuries-old Lingedijk. Sometimes you may see our Ouessant sheep grazing, and in the distance boats sail along the river Linge. Enjoy your stay!

Privacy

Garden, terrace and dogs
Enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the deck behind the guesthouse (beware: can be slippery) or at the adjacent seating areas. Our own garden (behind the gate) is watched by two beagles, Bluff and Muis. Their mission: escape. Please keep the gates closed.
Safety
The apartment is equipped with a smoke detector (no smoking) and a carbon monoxide detector. You will find a first aid kit and fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Emergencies: call 112 Minor issues: +31 6 30 47 57 72
Heating and ventilation
The living area is heated with a pellet stove, the bathroom has an electric radiator. Going out or too warm? You can turn off the pellet stove. It will quickly make the room cozy again upon your return.
Pellet stove usage:
- Hold the ON/OFF button until the stove switches on or off.
- Press – first to access the temperature setting.
- Set the desired temperature with + and –.
- Refill the stove once per day via the top hatch.
- For stays longer than 3 days: empty the ash drawer (when the stove has cooled down).
In case of malfunction: switch off the stove with the ON/OFF button, wait 10 minutes, and turn it back on.
New bags of pellets are in the garage; please let me know if you want me to bring them upstairs for you.
Bikes
Bikes can be placed and charged in the garage on the ground floor.
Waste
Full garbage bags can be placed in the bins at the parking area.
Watching TV
TV works via the NL ZIET app. 1. Turn on the TV using the large remote. 2. Press the power button on the small remote and wait. 3. Go to NL Ziet > Select Natuurhuisje HVA > Now on TV. If you end up on a different screen, press <-
